Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and Users regarding the use of the online file conversion service provided by ConvertBox (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all online file conversion tools provided by ConvertBox.
- "User" means all users who use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Content" means all files and data uploaded or created by Users while using the Service.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
- These Terms take effect for all Users who wish to use the Service.
- The Service may amend these Terms as necessary within the scope that does not violate relevant laws.
- If the Terms are amended, the Service will announce the changes from 7 days before the effective date.
Article 4 (Provision of Service)

The Service provides the following features:
- Image file conversion and editing
- PDF file conversion and editing
- Audio/Video file conversion
- Text conversion and processing
- Developer tools

The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle.

However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, server expansion, etc.
Article 5 (Use of Service)
- The Service is provided free of charge and does not require separate registration.
- Users shall not engage in the following acts while using the Service:
- Theft of others' information
- Acts that interfere with the stable operation of the Service
- Uploading illegal or inappropriate content
- Unauthorized copying or distribution of the Service's source code
Article 6 (Privacy Protection)
- The Service does not collect Users' personal information.
- All file processing is done locally in the User's browser and is not transmitted to servers.
- The Service may use cookies, which are used only for the purpose of improving user experience.
Article 7 (Content Management)
- Users have the rights and responsibilities for all content they upload.
- The Service does not store or retain Users' content.
- Users must have legitimate rights to the content they upload.
Article 8 (Service Suspension)

The Service may suspend service provision in the following cases:
- Unavoidable circumstances due to facility maintenance, etc.
- When a telecommunications business operator stipulated in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services
- Other force majeure circumstances

The Service will announce service suspension in advance, or may announce it afterwards in unavoidable cases.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
- The Service is exempt from liability if it cannot provide the Service due to natural disasters, war, or other force majeure.
- The Service is not responsible for service use failures due to Users' fault.
- The Service is not responsible for results obtained by Users using the Service.
- The Service is not responsible for disputes between Users or between Users and third parties.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Lawsuits regarding disputes between the Service and Users shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms shall take effect from January 3, 2026.
